The script .edit is a File Manipulation script (web based file management).
I was looking around for a basic PHP-script that would alolw me to edit files online. Unfortnuately I only found bloated ones that were ugly and did way too much. Eventually I gave up searching and decided to wirte my own.
Its only 70 lines of code and contains no useless crap.
Ive updated the script with the possibility to create files. Ive also rewritten of the code to make sure it validates and its still only 81 lines.
